Berry in Love

A great appetizer will always set people in the good mood for the rest of  meal, especially when you are hosting a party.  
These aromatic acicty strawberry with fresh creamy mozzarella cheese serve on toasted cruch bread with thin sliced romain lettus, then drzzil on top of strawberry with balsamic vinger mixture which is the short cut for the fancy blsamic vinger reduction.  It's like magic, you will see these only take few minutes to surprised you and make your guess impressive.  




Preparation time: 15 minutes 


Serving: 10-12 people


Ingredients:

1. 1 loaf of French or Italian bread, sliced it 45 degrees angle about 1/2 inches thick.

2. 1 packs fresh Mozzarella sliced it as bread size, but a little bit smaller and thinner.

3. 2 cups thin sliced romaine lettuce.

4. 10 basil leaves, roughly chopped.

5. 3 garlic cloves, peeled.

6. 1 pound strawberries rinsed, trimmed, and halved.


Flavor:

1.  2 1/2 tablespoons good quality balsamic vinegar.

2.  5 tablespoons strawberry jam.
(Add more vinegar for more sour flavor, but keep the sauce sticky, so you will be able to use it later).

3.  Salt and pepper.

4.  2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter mix together in stove top or microwave.

Preheat oven to 400F.

Brush bread with oil mixture on both side, then put them on baking sheet, bake for 3-5 minutes until light golden brown. Flip bread once in half time, bake to light golden brown, then take the bread out, rub it with garlic cloves on both sides.

Simply assemble these ingredients in layers,  romaine lettuces, fresh mozzarella, strawberry and balsamic vinegar mixture, sprinkle  with basil for finished.

一道好的前菜, 總是會讓人有了好心情去期待接下來的菜餚, 尤其是你主辦著宴會時.  這些香氣十足又帶點酸的草莓, 配上新鮮軟嫩的馬薩瑞拉起司以及烤過酥脆的麵包, 加上生菜絲, 然後淋上草莓果醬和義大利紅酒醋的調合, 最後撒上羅勒. 這根本就是高級濃縮紅洒醋的快速做法.  像是魔術一樣, 只要幾分鐘的時間, 將會帶給你驚喜, 也會讓你的客人們印象深刻. 

準備時間: 10-15 分鐘.
10-12 個人份.

1.  一條法國或義式麵包, 45度斜切, 約1.5 公分厚左右.  

2.  一塊新鮮的馬薩瑞拉起司, 切約像麵包一樣大的尺寸, 但是薄小點.  

3.  2 杯的生菜葉切絲.

4.  10 片羅勒葉, 大致上剁一下.

5.  3 顆大蒜剝去皮.

6.  1 磅的草莓洗淨, 去蒂頭, 切半.

1.  11/2 大匙品質好的義大利紅酒醋.  

2.  5 大匙的草莓果醬.  ( 如果你喜歡酸些, 可多加一點義大利紅酒醋, 但依舊保持醬汁一定的黏稠度. )

3.  塩和黑楜椒.

4.  2 大匙的橄欖油加一大匙的奶油在火爐上或微波爐裡加熱融化.  

烤箱預熱至四百度.

麵包兩邊刷上橄欖油和奶油的混合液, 放置烤盤上, 大約烤3-5分鐘.  中途翻面烤至金黃.  然後取出, 採用蒜頭直到抹上麵包的兩面.  

簡單的將這些食材一層層的擺上去,  生菜絲, 新鮮的馬薩瑞拉起司,  草莓和義式調和而成的醬汁, 最後撒上羅勒做完結.
